Christopher wants to see the world more than anything but finds himself trapped in his apartment. One day, for reasons he does not understand, he is given access to the building’s courtyard. There he makes a new friend named Charlie and finds an injured bird. As he nurses it back to health with Charlie’s help, Christopher struggles to understand the nature of captivity as he strives for his freedom.
